The Health District was one of many local resources and organizations that participated in the Overdose Awareness Day event in Old Town Square. Alyson Williams (left), director of planning, policy, research and evaluation, along with Jessica Shannon, resource development and special projects manager, were on hand to provide information about the Health District and the Changing Minds campaign to destigmatize substance use disorders (drug and alcohol addiction) and shift perceptions of treatment and recovery.
